Tyga can't seem to stay out of the headlines and stopped by Atlanta's 94.5 Streetz to address the latest rumors involving his name. In early January, the rapper came under scrutiny for exchanging texts with 14-year-old Molly O'Malia that were perceived as romantic. While Tyga's manager released a statement saying that the relationship was purely professional, eyebrows were raised considering that the Rawest Nigga Alive MC was allegedly dating Kylie Jenner before she turned 18.

Tyga claims he has nothing to hide and said he was trying to help the teenager's career. "I feel like you gotta pick and choose your battles," he said. "As far as the girl who said she was 14 or whatever, I feel like a lot of people on social media are models or singers who are trying to get discovered. So I hit her up to ask her to send me music. That's why I sent the texts out. I had nothing to hide. It was crazy because magazines tried to flip the situation and I was like, 'Damn, you can't even talk to people and give a person a break.' I had nothing to hide."

Over the summer of 2015, Tyga was allegedly having an affair with Mia Isabella, a transgender model. The rapper claimed that he is attacked by the media because of his status and affiliation with the Kardashian family. "Do you believe that?" he asked. "I be like, 'Damn, who's making this shit up? Somebody really has something against me up top.' It's entertainment, it's clicks. I got 8.5 million followers on Instagram, I got a big following. My affiliation with [Kylie] and her family, they are some of the biggest people on social media and in media, period. So of course they're going to attack me by affiliation, even if I stay in the house all day, I would still get attacked. You just brush the shit off, it's a new story every day."

Finally, the West Coast MC was asked about his on-again, off-again relationship with Kylie. "[Kylie and I] we good. Whether we're together or not, we're good."
