Tupac’s Mother Passes Away at 69

The mother of the late Tupac Shakur has passed away due to cardiac arrest. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m. in Sausilito, CA. 

Born Alice Faye Williams and later changing her name to Afeni Shakur, Shakur gave birth to an icon. She was a strong woman, as depicted in Tupac's hit, 'Dear Mama'.

Afeni was only 69 years old. She just recently filed for divorce from Gust Davis, and the world will be waiting to see what happens to the million-dollar-a-year earning Tupac Shakur's estate.
