Four months after dropping Roland Collins, Brooklyn's own Troy Ave is gearing up to release his latest project, It's Bricks in My Backpack 4 This White Christmas. The tape, which will be his third of the year, is all set to drop on Dec. 23. Peep the official cover for yourself up top.

Troy Ave was arrested for attempted murder back in May and remained in jail until he was  released from jail on $500,000 in July. The stipulations surrounding his bail have rendered him unable to leave the five burroughs and perform at live shows. Because of this, Troy says It's Bricks in My Backpack will focus on him returning to the trap.

Troy has been going through some things lately, but it's clear that none of them have prevented him from making good music. The "Rikers Island" rapper dropped his tape Free Troy Ave all the way back in June, which was slightly after the shooting incident that landed him in jail. This past August, he added yet another entry into his massive catalog with Roland Collins. Keep it locked with XXL for more updates.
