Fresh off dropping his gold certified Astroworld album, Travis Scott announces that he's executive-producing the soundtrack for NBA 2K19Newly minted Los Angeles Laker LeBron James helped the Houston rapper serve up the news in an Instagram video Scott uploaded today (Aug. 15).

In the video, Scott answers a few of LeBron's questions about how it feels to produce the soundtrack for game, which has been a staple of NBA lovers for years now. As expected, La Flame is pretty stoked.

"It's an honor. It's dope," Scott says as his Astroworld song "Stargazing" plays in the background. "I always like a chance to be able to like, curate music. 2K is a game people live their lifestyle to."

When Scott isn't sitting down with LeBron, he's wearing some motion capture gear in what appears to be a 2K Sports facility. Could this mean we'll see his character in the game? It wouldn't be much of a stretch, but we'll have to wait to find out for sure.

The Scott-produced 2K19 soundtrack will include selections from Astroworld as well as offerings from Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Migos, Fall Out Boy, Alison Wonderland, PartyNextDoor and more.
