It’s possible that casual Hip Hop fans will always look at Lloyd Banks like Robin to 50 Cent’s Batman. He’s proven to be much more than that, though. The Jamaica, Queens native has released three albums with hit singles off each project. His last album was The Hunger For More 2, which was released in November of 2010.

The relationship between Lloyd and 50 has been described as “tumultuous” as of late. Just recently, Fif nearly caused a riot at a Mixshow Live Summit in Atlanta. 50 was there to promote his new artist, Kidd Kidd. He summoned Meek Mill to join him on-stage. That’s when things got nasty.

Fif apparently spotted a member of Meek’s entourage that he’s familiar with, Trav. Apparently 50 doesn’t like dude, told him to step off stage, words were exchanged and Meek Mill had to step in to defuse the situation.

Apparently the beef between the two stems from a twitter exchange between 50, Trav, and Trav’s friend, Lloyd Banks.

There will always be beef in the game, but as fans we just want to see our favorite artists do what they do best – PERFORM! That’s exactly what Banks plans on doing when he comes to town on August 24th. He’ll be throwin’ down at Duo Lounge on Broadway in Saratoga Springs. Listen each weekday just after 3pm to find out when you can win tickets – we’ll be giving away a pair each weekday leading up to the show.

In anticipation of the show, here’s MY top 5 Banks records to date. Feel free to chime in with your top 5 list in the comments below.
