The Weeknd surprised fans via Twitter last night when he first tweeted “gonna drop some information for the fans today.” Shortly after, he uploaded a photo of his sophomore LP’s title.

‘Kiss Land’ will serve as the follow-up to his three-part ‘Trilogy,’ which consisted of remastered tracks from his previous mixtapes -- 'House of Balloons,' 'Thursday' and 'Echoes of Silence' -- and three additional songs, released in November. ‘Trilogy’ was confirmed as certified gold in both the U.S. and Canada, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

It is almost exactly two years to the date when the critically acclaimed mixtape, ‘House of Balloons,’ was released and the Weeknd soothed our listening pleasures with ‘High for This,' 'What You Need' and 'Wicked Games.'

Just last week during SXSW, the singer picked up his first Woodie Award for FOMO (aka Fear of Missing Out).

No further details have been released of what to expect from his upcoming album nor a release date.
