This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the death of one of the most iconic figures in Hip Hop. Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997), better known by his stage names The Notorious B.I.G., Biggie, or Biggie Smalls. The Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down by gun man after leaving a Soul Train Awards after party.

The Hip Hop community has mourned Biggie Smalls death for 20 years mentioning his name, sampling his records, and keeping his memory alive in so many different ways. I started DJing in 1996 so the Notorious B.I.G. is instrumental to my DJ career he had some of the most popular records when I first started spinning.
