YouTuber Tasha K reportedly refuses to delete her defamatory videos about Cardi B as ordered by a federal judge.

On Thursday (April 14), journalist Dennis Byron jumped on his Twitter account to report that Cardi B’s attorneys are mounting a legal response to “the blogger lady” (aka Tasha K) because she has not removed the offending videos about the 2019 Grammy Award-winning rapper.

“Breaking! The Blogger Lady aka #TashaK defies Federal Court Order by failing to remove defamatory statements about @iamcardib,” he tweeted. “#CardiB Legal teams mounts a response. She is facing possible prison time and financial sanctions. This is a developing story."

Byron would later hop on his Instagram Live to further explain Tasha K’s purported refusal to not take down the Cardi B videos.

"This is a federal judge’s order and it is very specific and it was a consenting order by mutual parties," he said during his 30-minute IG Live session. "So...at this point when you violate a judge’s order there are one or two things that could happen. They could throw you in jail. They could fine you. Being thrown in jail is one thing but then the fine is up to $50,000 and up to a year in jail. What was she (Tasha K) thinking?"

Back in January, Tasha K, real name Latasha Kebe, was found guilty of two counts of slander plus one count each of libel and invasion of privacy in Cardi B’s 2019 defamation lawsuit against the blogger. According to court documents obtained by XXL, Kebe was ordered to pay the "Up" rapper $1.5 million in punitive damages and $1,338,753.47 in litigation expenses. Additionally, she also was ordered to pay for Cardi's medical expenses, which was reduced from $250,000 to $25,000, making the full amount Tasha has to cough up nearly $3 million.

In response, Tasha K posted a video on her YouTube channel called "Tasha K's Official Statement on The Verdict" where she called the ruling "extremely prejudicial" and blasted "the machine" for bullying her.

“These last four years fighting this conspiracy case have been extremely challenging," Tasha K began in her 12-minute video. "The verdict handed down on Monday was no shock to myself, my husband or my legal team."

“We called bluff against a machine that wanted to bully me for not wavering from my personal beliefs," she continued. “A machine that has corporate interests to protect prostitution, drug use, promiscuity and to glorify the violence that wreaks havoc in our society and in our neighborhood.”

The 39-year-old YouTuber vowed to legally fight back and take her case all the way to the Supreme Court, if necessary, in order to seek justice. "This is my life and I will spend my life fighting for my livelihood and our First Amendment right as human beings," she said.
