Tamar Braxton released her first album in 13 years when 'Love and War' dropped in the summer of 2013. The songstress didn't show any rust, and her sophomore effort became one of the year's best selling albums, which resulted in her win for R&B Album of the Year in The Boombox Fan Choice Awards.

Braxton joins K. Michelle as reality stars who are able to find legitimate success outside of the television box. 'Love and War' debuted at No. 2 behind Ariana Grande's 'Yours Truly,' but it did sell more physical copies than the younger singer's effort. Braxton's album has sold over 180,000 copies, which is double than Fantasia's 'Side Effects of You.' Fantasia finished second in the voting with 39.26 percent.

Fans didn't have to wait another decade for Braxton's next effort. She released her Christmas album, 'Winter Loversland,' in December 2013. Although it didn't sell as well as her 'Love and War,' it's hard to imagine that listeners wouldn't want more from the songstress.
