A new, national ranking claims New York has some of the best sledding spots in the entire country.

If you are looking for a thrill ride this winter then you are going to want to head to Lake Placid and do some serious sledding. It's just two-and-a-half hours from the Capital Region to the Toboggan Chute, the longest in New York state!

Winter is here and there is nothing more fun, in my opinion than finding the biggest hill and going sledding on. You can get some serious sledding in just two-and-a-half hours from the Capital Region at the Lake Placid Toboggan Chute.

The 518 is being bombarded with snow today school is closed a lot of business's are closed and mostly everyone is indoors. It made realize I haven't participated in a great American past time which is sledding.
