Schenectady is about to get a bit more Italian. There is a new Italian deli and specialty store moving in soon. It will be replacing an Indian restaurant and a cafe in the Clinton building.

One Schenectady legend, Perreca's, will be helping to reopen the doors of another well known Little Italy eatery.

There's some big news in Schenectady's Little Italy. It looks like the shuttered Cornell's Italian Restaurant has a buyer and they plan on keeping it as an Italian restaurant. The family who is buying has been in Schenectady's Little Italy neighborhood for one hundred and seven years and are the perfect ones to do it.

There are some things about Schenectady that everyone can agree with and one of them is that we have the best Italian food in the Capital Region. One of the people who can be thanked for that, passed away yesterday.
