Stanford women's basketball coach Tara VanDerveer, who grew up in Schenectady, recently set a new NCAA record for wins by a basketball coach.

It also ended up being Coach K's final game of his legendary career. It was very strange seeing him walk off of the court for the final time.

Louisville took out Duke to advance to the NCAA Final Four this past weekend.  They lost a player to one of the most unnerving injuries every documented in sports, though.
