Soulja Boy claims he’s innocent concerning his recent arrest last week for having a loaded gun in his vehicle. The Atlanta rapper also believes that police violated his rights by illegally searching him.

As we previously reported, the 23-year-old artist was arrested by police in Los Angeles after they stopped his car for running through a stop sign. Upon further inspection of the vehicle, authorities discovered a loaded gun in the car.

Soulja’s manager, Miami Mike, told TMZ that the gun didn’t belong to his artist. He claims a neighbor left the firearm under the car seat unbeknownst to the rapper. In addition, Mike said Soulja told authorities it wasn’t his weapon and police searched the car illegally because they didn’t have probable cause.

So far, Soulja Boy has been quiet about the arrest. When confronted by the media outside of the police station, the 'We Made It' rhymer would only say, "Everything is allegedly" and that a new album is on the way. Nevertheless, he seems to be in good spirits, judging by his recent tweet.
