Saratoga Racing Season Finish Line in Sight With Fan Appreciation Week
It's hard to believe that this is the last week of the Saratoga Race Course season. To commemorate the final week of racing the New York Racing Association (NYRA) is showing its appreciation to the racing fans.
Starting today (Wednesday, September 1st) fans can get their hands on some cool giveaways from years' past. There will be a selection of Saratoga Race Course umbrellas, t-shirts, bobbleheads, cooler bags, clocks, beach towels, and hats from the last ten years. Items are priced at ten dollars or less and it's cash only.
On Thursday, September 2nd, NYRA is doing a ticket giveaway to events throughout the area. You can win tickets to see Zac Brown Band at SPAC, Adirondack Thunder, and Tri-City ValleyCats game tickets.
There are a lot of seating discounts throughout Fan Appreciation week. You can get buy one get one free on reserved seats in The Cutwater Stretch and Grandstand and get reserved tables in the Fourstardave Sports Bar and Miller Lite Picnic Paddock. There are also discounts on family four-packs and box seats in the Clubhouse on Sunday, September 5th.
Don't forget Sunday, September 5th is the final giveaway of the Saratoga Racing Season. With paid admission, you will get the Saratoga fleece hoodie while they last. Gates open at 11 am.
I still can't believe that another season at the Saratoga Race Course is coming to an end. I am just glad that we were able to enjoy it fully this year. It was so strange last year that we weren't able to attend. It was a great season.
