R&B newcomer Sampha performed his tender ballad 'Too Much' during a live set for BBC Radio 1’s Future Festival. The song should be familiar to you as it’s track No. 12 on Drake’s Grammy-nominated album 'Nothing Was the Same.'

The U.K. artist has released a piano-driven version of the song on iTunes through his indie label, Young Turks, and added more lyrics to it. The song details a relationship that’s in a fragile state.

"Don’t give up when your heart’s done and you tell me that you care / Don’t give up when your heart’s done when you tell me something’s gone wrong," he croons.

If you love Drizzy’s version, you will absolutely embrace Sampha’s aching ballad even more. He’s certainly an artist to watch in 2014.

Sampha’s performance follows behind his just-released EP 'Sundanza,' a collection of lo-fi, emotional-driven songs about love and life.

It’s a "pay what you can" project with proceeds going to the Youth Cancer Trust charity. So go out and support this altruistic and soulful singer.
