Following Waka Flocka Flame’s decision to cancel his performance for University of Oklahoma’s S.A.E. fraternity, MSNBC's Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough chimed in with his thoughts Wednesday morning (March 11). He claims rap music is the reason why the students sang the N-word in the racist chant. This prompted folks on Twitter to create the hashtag #RapAlbumsThatCausedSlavery.

The meme has become a trending topic on Twitter and there are some clever -- and hilarious -- rap album titles being tweeted.

For example, Jay Z’s Magna Carta, Holy Grail became Magna Cottons Holy Grains; Snoop Dogg's Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told was flipped to Da Slave is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told; Notorious B.I.G’s Ready to Die became Ready to Hang and Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Link was changed to Only Built 4 White Things.

This is a humorous way to fight back against the ridiculous opinions that rap music is the cause of these students chanting about hanging African-Americans from a tree.
