TV One will bring 'R&B Divas' back for a second season.

Set for a spring premiere, the show will follow the original season's singers -- Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt -- for another eight episodes.

A Los Angeles-version of 'R&B Divas' is also in the works, although the network has not released official names for the cast yet. This show will air towards the end of 2013.

'R&B Divas' was widely successful last season with 600,000 plus viewers, becoming one of TV One's signature shows. Even though it has significantly less viewers than other Atlanta-based reality shows like 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' and 'Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta,' it tones down the drama, which has been the goal from the beginning.

'R&B Divas' has definitely struck a positive chord with viewers,” said Toni Judkins, executive vice president programming and production for TV One, in a press release. “Week-after-week, the series continued to build on its audience and we’re thrilled to provide another season and a new franchise of a dynamic program that is clearly resonating with audiences.”

Faith Evans released the compilation 'R&B Divas' featuring all of the singers from the show in October 2012.
