Noose Found On RPI’s Campus

In today's local racism.....

 A noose was found hung on a pole at one of RPI’s athletic fields, and the picture was shared on social media. The noose was found tied to a pole on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Security has since taken it down, the white supremacist who hung the noose is still on the loose.

Nooses represent a long history of terrorism towards African Americans, people were hung from trees, bridges, sometimes burned, and put on public display to enforce fear within the black community.

I hope they find the person responsible for this cowardly act and arrest them for terroristic threats. This kind of behavior is disruptive to those trying to seek higher learning and the community. Most of the people that do things like this get away with it with no consequences.
