To get fans excited for the upcoming release of the 'Infamous Mobb Deep' 20th Anniversary album, Mobb Deep has dropped 'Taking You Off Here,' a throwback banger featuring gritty rhymes from Havoc and Prodigy.

The song boasts a heavy drum beat and twangy guitars and eerie synths. On the nihilistic chorus, Havoc raps, "Taking you off here / Say he gotta get got / N---- violated so he gotta get got / Fascinated n---- gave you that body shot / Handle that s--- off the top."

As we previously reported, the 'Infamous Mobb Deep,’ is a double album featuring the original 16 track plus 10 unreleased songs from the recording sessions featuring guest verses from Nas and Ghostface Killah. In addition, there will be 10 new songs from Mobb Deep.

In addition, Mobb Deep recently partnered with PledgeMusic to help bring the project closer to fans in April.

"The PledgeMusic campaign will allow Mobb Deep fans close access to the band and a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the album," reads a press release from the New York duo (via HipHopDX). "Those who pre-order the album will receive exclusive access to unreleased tracks. Pledgers can receive signed T-shirts and vinyl among a long list of exclusives, as well as higher-tiered items and unique experiences such as VIP drinks with Prodigy, a Pledger-only show, and a limited edition Infamous bike."

Needless to say, we need to see this album come to fruition. If you want to get involved, head over to PledgeMusic.com and make it happen.
