Migos Live Like “Supastars” on Glittering New Song
Migos live like the rock stars they are on "Supastars," a glittering new Honorable C.N.O.T.E., Buddah Blessed and DJ Durel-co-produced trap song from their Culture II album. It's the third single from their forthcoming project.
Featuring a constellation of bright bells, swirling synths and trap hi-hats, the new track finds Quavo, Offset and Takeoff doing their usual flexing. It's a song that's as glossy as it is hard-hitting and puts an image of Migos copping space Wraiths and whipping across the galaxy.
"My niggas the same, don't need no clout no fame/Bought the gang, all brand new chains/Swerve the lanes, call the group the gang/Whip that thang, then she give me brain," Quavo spits on the luminous track.
The track follows the release of "MotorSport" and "Stir Fry," two previous singles from the clique's new Culture II album. Speaking with Hot 97 personality Ebro Darden the other day, Quavo said the former song, which connected Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, was definitely a big moment for the culture.
For his part, Offset said the track was one of his favorites. "I love it," Offset said at the time. "When it be in the moment, outside the moment, it touch everybody. You know when you got the trap records, all the girls, you can have a nice trap record, everybody going crazy, for like—And that record going crazy. Women poppin' they shit, men poppin' they shit."
Fans can hear Culture II in its entirety when it drops on Jan. 26, which is the anniversary of their Culture album release date.
