Logic and Joey Badass Spit a Freestyle Together on the Tour Bus

Logic's current tour has been one with plenty of lasting memories: just last week he battled and took home the W against Lil Yachty in an on-stage Mario Kart battle, and a couple weeks before that he went bar for bar with his bodyguard, prevailing yet again. Though the Everybody emcee has shown his competitive nature time and time again in recent weeks, none of those may be able to top his latest antic with tour buddy Joey Badass, which was clearly all in good fun.

Between their Philly and Boston tour legs, the two lyricists engaged in a playful freestyle with one another, vibing on the tour bus as Logic records it all on his iPhone. Him and Badmon's bars weren't the most lyrical we've ever heard from either of them, but the way they bounce off each other's wordplay proves why Logic tapped Joey to tour with him in the first place. Fans' only disappointment was that the video cut off before their freestyle could be heard in full.

While on the road, both lyricists have been keeping extremely busy with their respective labels, old and new. Joey has been steady in the booth working on music for a collective project with Pro Era and preparing Capital Steez's posthumous album. He also recently dropped three solo tracks—"Too Lit," "500 Benz" and "Love Is Only a Feeling"—within the past month, all produced by Statik Selektah.

Logic, on the other hand, has been playing the back end of the industry as of late, having founded the new Elysium record label in late June.  “Elysium was created mainly because I don’t trust anybody else, with the precious cargo that is my family—from Lenny, Damian, John Lindahl and my wife," he explained during the announcement. "I wanted to create a place where they can feel free and literally do whatever they want, because this is so much more than just music. It really is a family, you know? So many people that support me are gonna support these artists. What we’re all here to represent is following your dreams. Because each and every artist that was here didn’t have anything handed to them, and that’s why I’m so happy I’ve been put in a position where I can shed light on these people.”
