Lil Yachty hasn't been on the scene for too long, but he's already dropped two mixtapes, and his debut album, titled Teenage Emotions, is on the horizon. In a recent interview, Lil Boat took some time to describe the sound of his forthcoming project.

"[Teenage Emotions] kind of got an ’80s, ’90s vibe on some of the tracks," Yachty says of his new album. "It’s called Teenage Emotions so it caters to a teenager’s everyday lifestyle: heartbreak, happiness, that vibe of when you’re waking up in the morning, getting dressed and want to dance. It’s not just bars or straight mumble rap, it goes down different lanes. I be rapping real hard on this one, I be pop singing on this, and I be talking about being lost in love on this one, then back to 'fuck you, suck my dick!'"

You can see the rest of Yachty's interview below. In the video, Yachty is making pizza (his favorite food) as he discusses his musical influences. He describes his upcoming album at around the 11:30 mark of the video.

Yachty's new project doesn't have a release date yet, but it's clear the Atlanta rapper is doing some big things in 2017. Late yesterday, Yachty used his Instagram account to reveal he's releasing his own flavors of Rap Snacks.  One flavor is called "Hot Chilli Pepper and Lime," while the other is "Crunchy Curls."
