Kanye West Is Pushing Will Smith To Return To Music

Will Smith has been sitting down with media outlets promoting his new movie, “After Earth.” The conversation switched gears to his musical talents when he spoke to HipHollywood.

“I’ve been messing around with Kanye.” It seems while ‘Ye is working on his next album, he’s trying to inspire Will to get back in the lab. “We went in the studio a couple of times. I might get the bug.”

Will’s latest musical effort was a new version of “Summertime” with DJ Jazzy Jeff last year. Before that he dropped “Lost and Found”, which featured the single “Switch” in 2005.

Although he doesn’t rule out recording new records, he does have some stipulations. “I’m not going to do it unless I’m truly inspired, but ‘Ye’s been pushing me a little bit.”

His new movie, After Earth, is also starring Smith’s son, Jaden. He didn’t just catch the acting bug from his superstar father – the young’n spits his own rhymes, respectively. Jaden laid down some rhymes all around the globe as an opening act on Justin Bieber’s tour.
