John Legend and More Set to Perform at 2017 Grammy Awards
R&B piano man John Legend is among the first round of performers who will grace the stage at the 2017 Grammy Awards in February. The 10-time Grammy winner is joined by other musicians like Metallica and Keith Urban who are also performing.
Although the Grammy producers haven’t officially announced it yet, pop superstars Beyoncé and Adele will reportedly sing at the awards ceremony as well. In a Billboard interview, the show’s executive producer, Ken Ehrlich, indirectly confirmed that Queen Bey and the British songbird are performing at this year’s awards ceremony.
“Very few people say 'no' to the Grammys. Over all of the years I’ve been doing the show, there have been three or four acts who’ve actually said no,” he said. “I can tell you that Adele and Beyoncé are not two of them. We have every anticipation that both of them will be with us in February.”
Well, we should hope so. Both Beyoncé and Adel nabbed multiple Grammy nominations and will compete in the Album of the Year category for their albums Lemonade and 25, respectively.
The 59th annual Grammy Awards will be air live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Feb. 12, 2017 at 8PM ET on CBS.
