Jhene Aiko's long-awaited debut album finally has a release date. According to Rap-Up, 'Souled Out' will arrive on Aug. 25 via Def Jam/Artium Records (No I.D.'s imprint).

The album serves as the follow-up to Ms. Aiko's 2013 EP, 'Sail Out,' which she previously described as a bridge between her debut EP 'Selling Souls' and the forthcoming 'Souled Out,' so you should probably listen to it before diving into her new album.

The Los Angeles songstress has already shared the lead single off 'Souled Out' with the Cocaine 80s-assisted 'To Love and Die,' and performed another new song called 'Spotless Mind' at Coachella back in April. No I.D., James Fauntleroy, Dot Da Genius and Key Wane will also be lending production to the project.

Don't expect many big names on the actual guest list, though; Jhene told Rap-Up earlier this year that she "did the album and it just shaped up to be all me." By the sounds of it, she has a lot to get off her chest.
