Jermaine Dupri Now Managing Mariah Carey

Randy Jackson’s reign as Mariah Carey’s manager is coming to an end. One of MiMi’s long-time collaborators will step in to help guide the diva, Jermaine Dupri. In a statement, JD said “A multi-talented artist of Mariah’s caliber should be doing everything imaginable.” Like what? Judging American Idol? I digress…

In her own statement, Mariah seems excited about the new direction of her career. “We have a bond that surpasses music. I’m super excited about our merger because we have so many innovative ideas that I know will come to fruition.”

Her latest single, #beautiful (featuring Miguel), is expected to be on her forthcoming album, The Art of Letting Go. The project doesn’t have a release date yet. It will be her 14th studio album.
