Jay Electronica must have got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning (April 4), as he took to his Twitter and went on a serious rant.

After reading his 14-plus tweets, it appears that the 'Exhibit C' rapper is angry about artists spitting violent lyrics, while people's civil rights are being violated by authorities. In the past month or so, there have been several killings in the inner-city by the hands of youth and police alike.

"'Thugs' and 'goons' walk past george zimmerman everyday. Why he aint get his head bust yet?" he tweeted. "Whats sad is pp will fight or oppose you if you dabble in this kind of talk. But they won't fight the school for teaching the babies lies."

"Its like ppl have abandoned there inner constitution for turn up kits and social networking hype," he continued. No one is a standup guy anymore?"

"Rant over. you can go back to listening to your favourite artists tell you how much you're not s—- and make you feel bad for not having," he finished.

Jay Elect, who just released his 'We Made It' freestyle featuring Jay Z, also posted two harrowing videos. One shows a young man bleeding out after being shot by police, while the other visual is of a man being harassed by law enforcement in his home.

For a guy who hasn’t been heard from in the past few years, he has a lot to say.
