Back in January when it was announced that rising country superstar Zach Bryan was coming to MVP Arena in Albany, you could sense the excitement from his passionate and loyal fanbase.

But tickets are hard to get - I know, I've obsessed for the past few weeks trying to get them, and while it's possible, it can be tricky and you need a little luck.

Despite being relatively unknown to the masses, his fanbase is one of the fastest-growing in the industry.  And Bryan's upcoming concert Friday night in Albany sold out in minutes, as did most of the Burn, Burn, Burn Tour which he kicked off earlier this month in Virginia.

Bryan doesn't like Ticketmaster

The announcement of his first arena-headlining tour came with a lot of excitement, as well as some strict disclaimers regarding tickets and ticket sales.

Bryan is attempting to thwart the "bots" or "scalpers" who eat up all the tickets and then sell them for an outrageous profit.  So, for this tour, the "Godspeed" singer uses an "alternative" ticket agency called AXS that allows him more control over who gets tickets and how much people spend.

What is AXS?

AXS is an American ticket outlet that, in theory, is used to prevent "large volume, automated purchases used by ticket resalers by using a "waiting room" facility on a separate server."

With AXS, Bryan is working to keep the Burn Burn Burn Tour a fan-focused event, and no ticket (even premium GA tickets) will sell for more than $156 according to the singer.

The ticket website also has a non-transferable ticketing policy that prevents resale, ensuring that scalpers don't jack up the price for fans who are willing to pay a premium to see the Oolaga, Oklahoma sensation.

What does all this mean for fans?

It means that Zach Bryan tickets will always be fairly priced, but they're also nearly impossible to get.
