This may be the ultimate "You Know You're from Upstate New When", but I need somebody to explain this like I'm NOT from Upstate.

I've lived in the Capital Region my whole life and I've seen a lot of interesting, baffling, bizarre, and truly unique things - but this was a new one.

Many of the more unusual things we see in the area have already been discussed through memes and joke pages titled "You Know You're from Upstate NY When" and the list would include things like "you get stuck in traffic behind a tractor", "you have an unhealthy love for Stewart's" or "you know the Egg isn't just for breakfast" etc.

But this was some Upstate NY stuff I wasn't prepared for when I exited off The Northway and made my way into Clifton Park.

Is it just the head, or is there a whole body as well, leaning back, chilling in the passenger seat?

I can't tell.

In the interest of giving whoever did this the benefit of the doubt, there are several things I need to know.

Was he planning on taking an HOV lane and needed another "passenger" to legally use it?

Did he run out of room in the truck's cargo bed?

Is it just the head of a deer or the full body, too?  If it were just the head, wouldn't you just cover it up and put it in the backseat?

Is it like Weekend at Bernie's, or in this case Weekend at Rudolph's?

Regardless of reason or motive, it's one helluva Upstate New York flex and one that I've never seen before.

I guess we can add thing #2976 to the growing list of "You Know You're from Upstate NY When..."
