Last week a mid-March Nor'easter left many Capital Region residents scrambling while Mother Nature dumped a foot on us just days before St. Patricks's Day and March Madness hit the State Capital, but, we made it.
And now, just when it seemed that things were slowly returning to normal in Albany, on Sunday there was news from the Albany Police Department about an upcoming large healthcare rally downtown and as expected, there will be many closings and delays.

Who is rallying, and how many people are expected to show up?

A Facebook post from the Healthcare Education Project claims that as many as 15,000 healthcare workers from all over the State of New York will be bussed in to attend the rally.

"On March 21st, we’re joining our partners 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East and Greater New York Hospital Association and over 15,000 healthcare workers in a massive rally in Albany to ensure our state properly addresses the mental health crisis and supports New York families."

While the actual amount of people coming into the city hasn't been confirmed, one thing we do know is that there will be more city gridlock beginning Tuesday morning.

Ralliers will start inside MVP Arena in the morning and then they'll be heading over to the State Capitol in the afternoon beginning at 2 PM.

Here's the information from the Albany Police Department regarding Tuesday's rally:

On Tuesday, beginning at 9:00 am, United Healthcare Workers East membership from around the State of New York will be arriving in Albany for an event at the MVP Arena and rally at the New York State Capitol. The police say that they'll be arriving on Madison Avenue between South Swan Street and Eagle Street via bus.
