Top 10 Places In Capital Region With Gas Under $4 a Gallon

Everything seems to be more expensive right now, so when we can, we are all trying to save. Since we all need gas to get to work, toting the kids around, and more, here are the top 10 places to fill up in the Capital Region where gas is under $4 a gallon.

Here are the top 10 places, according to Gas Buddy, in the Capital Region to get gas for under $4. You may notice a pattern. It seems Schenectady has the most gas stations with gas under four dollars.

If you have a club membership to Sam's or BJ's Wholesale, you have the perk of saving on filling up your tank. What puzzles me is how one gas station on one end of the Northway can offer gas for $3.87 a gallon and travel two miles north, and you are filling up for $4.09 a gallon. How is that fair and legal?

What is most frustrating for me is that the price of gas at the Sunoco gas station on Route 9 in Halfmoon near the Halfmoon Diner is $4.13, compared to the Valero across the street, which is $4.03.

I realize that gas prices are rising, but how can the prices at each gas station be so vastly different?
