
Capital Region Families Can Catch 8 Free Movies at the Palace Theatre
8 Free Movies in Albany
The Palace Theatre is once again helping families beat the summer boredom without breaking the bank.
The annual Broadview Federal Credit Union Summer in the City Free Movie Series, presented by Fidelis Care, returns to Albany this July and August with eight free family movie events.
Every movie is completely free to attend, and kids ages 12 and under will receive free popcorn.

The series kicks off July 7th with Disney's Zootopia 2 and continues throughout the summer with a lineup that includes Lilo & Stitch, Dog Man, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Tangled, How to Train Your Dragon, The LEGO Movie, and The SpongeBob Movie.
For each movie, doors open at noon, giving families a chance to enjoy crafts, activities, giveaways, and other fun before the movie begins at 1 p.m.
The Palace says free tickets can be picked up at the Palace Theatre Box Office or reserved online in advance.
With free admission, free popcorn for kids, and a lineup packed with family favorites, it's a great way to spend a summer afternoon in downtown Albany.
