Next week will feel more like November with Upstate New York's chilliest weather of the season along with a little wet snow for some.

We have had a pretty stellar run of sunny, mild weather so far this fall. That run is about to come to an end, for a few days at least. Before the chill arrives, WNYT says we have a  stellar Saturday on tap this weekend with sun and temperatures in the mid to upper 60's.. Then a little does of reality sets in - with rain Sunday and MUCH chillier temperatures in the 50's.

Accuweather says this cold-spell will roll through Wednesday, with highs in Albany in the low 50s and overnight lows around 40. This stretch of cold weather will include "chilly rain showers mixed with wet snow in some locations..." including central and northern New York. The next few days will be a great reminder to start getting prepped for the season ahead!

Will Mild Fall Weather Return?

The good news is this will not be your last fall weekend with nice weather to get outside. Accuweather says we will be back in the 60s by Friday, with sun and highs in the mid 60s forecast for next weekend.
