Capital Region Excited For Another New Drive-Thru XMas Light Display
As we gear up for the holiday season, another new drive-thru Christmas light display will debut in the Capital Region in November.
As we get another fall warm-up this week with temperatures near 80 for Halloween this Thursday, it is hard to believe the holiday season is right around the corner. Or at least it does not feel like it's right around the corner. But have no fear, you will be hanging lights and watching Hallmark Christmas movies before ya know it! Not to mention looking for fun Christmas activities to get into the spirit-of-the-season with your family.
Two New Drive-Thru Christmas Light Displays Set To Debut In the Capital Region
One of our favorite things to do with our kids is drive around to see all the Christmas lights in our neighborhood and check out the spectacular local drive-thru light displays. This year now have 2 new drive-thru openings in the area.
Just announced last week, Magic of Lights announced it will kick off at Altamont Fairgrounds in just a few weeks on Friday, November 22nd. And we have gotten word of another new drive-thru arriving next month.
Adirondack Animal Land in Gloversville will open their new drive-thru and walk-through display called 'Christmas at Animal Land' which their website describes as "...thousands and thousands of lights and displays...a live nativity, interactive activities for kids and adults..." and the chance to see Santa!
Christmas at Animal Land will kick off Friday, November 29th, and will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through December 21st. General admission tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children, and kids under 2 get in free. You can learn more here!
