On December 23rd, State Police in Saratoga reported the arrest of Charlene M. Sheehy, 38, of Milton, NY.

According to the report, police say they got the 911 call at 7:25 AM on the morning of Dec. 23rd.  It was from one of the worried children who told them they were home alone and that their mom was "missing."

When police investigated, they learned that Sheehy wasn't actually missing.

Instead, they believe she had been out drinking, allegedly leaving her kids home by themselves for hours.

All three kids in the house were under 12 years old according to NYSP.

Sheehy did come home eventually and when she did, Troopers were on the scene.

When she arrived home, police say she blew a 0.21% BAC, which is more than twice the legal limit.

She was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Endangering the Welfare of a Child and released to a sober party.
