Look Up In The Sky! New Yorkers Say This Is The Best Hero From the Empire State
There are an awful lot of superheroes who call New York home, but which one is the favorite in the state?
When it comes to superheroes in New York you can find a whole bunch of them. Look at Marvel Comics. Not only are Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four from the Big Apple, but other heroes also happen to call NYC their hometown as well.
The Avengers are based in New York, as well as Doctor Strange. You also have The Defenders who also call NY home and that's just in the city.
What about outside of New York City? That's where the X-Men come into play. Professor Charles Xavier's mansion sits in Westchester County, which for some reason they always call Upstate New York, but that's a battle for another time and place.
I decided to ask who the Capital Region's favorite New York based hero was ad I got some answers I expected, as well as some answers I never would have guessed.
Obviously we got some of the usual answers. Spider-Man was mentioned an awful lot. I was kind of surprised no one really mentioned Daredevil. He was always a favorite of mine.
Then I got some answers about people I would have never thought were superheroes, but I guess being a hero to someone is how they make you feel.

Then I got this one, which made me chuckle a little bit.
