New York’s New ‘Primetime Players’ Face Tough Test in 2023 Schedule [LIST]
It's been quite a while since expectations were this high for the New York Jets. On the heels of trading for star QB Aaron Rodgers, the Jets seem poised for a return to the playoffs in 2023, something the franchise has not accomplished in...well, let's just say, it's been a while.
That all being said, this season's schedule, which was released on Thursday night, presents a few significant roadblocks for Rodgers and Co. heading into a pivotal campaign at MetLife Stadium.
Tough Tests Await New York's Newest "Primetime Players" in 2023
The NFL has officially released the schedules for all 32 of its teams ahead of kick-off for the 2023 season, and the Jets have more than a few tough tests ahead of them. As is customary in the NFL, each division matches up with one specific division from the opposing conference, and the teams play each other one time each during the season.
The New York Jets, as well as the rest of the AFC East, have drawn the NFC East in 2023, pitting eight of the toughest teams in the league against one another for four total games apiece this season.
That cross-conference match-up adds onto the fact that the AFC East appears to be one of, if not the, best divisions in all of football this season. The Bills are legitimate Super Bowl contenders, and if Tua Tagovailoa can play a healthy season, then the Dolphins will be a force to be reckoned with, as well.
Plus, as a New York Jets' fan, you simply cannot count out Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots when these two teams play.
With all of that being said, let's get to the grand reveal. Here is the entire New York Jets' schedule for 2023, and when each of the games will be played. How many wins can Aaron Rodgers and the crew manage to pick-up this season?
