Buffalo Bills’ Hamlin Has Emotional Moment at Location of Cardiac Arrest [WATCH]
Damar Hamlin and the Buffalo Bills returned to Cincinnati this past weekend.
It was the team's first trip back to Cincinnati since January 2nd of this year, when Hamlin, while playing safety for the Bills, entered into cardiac arrest while on the field and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. Hamlin was not only able to recover from this, but also remained on the Bills' roster for the 2023 season after training camp concluded.
Though he was inactive for his return to Cincinnati on Sunday, he still found time to take the field, and a diligent reporter was able to catch it on video.
Damar Hamlin Has Emotional Moment After Bills-Bengals Game in Cincinnati

A huge credit to Olivia Ray for capturing this emotional moment, and giving us a look at what this trip must've meant to Damar Hamlin this past weekend.
With him not in the lineup, there was no triumphant trot back onto the field with his teammates. There was no show-stopping standing ovation from the raucous crowd in Cincinnati. And, you know what? There didn't need to be.
This quiet moment allowed Damar Hamlin to embrace the emotions he must've been feeling, without anything getting in the way of him finding peace. For the time being, it was perfect.
His return to the field in Cincinnati during a game will hopefully come someday soon, and when it does, we'll be right there to applaud him the way he deserves.
