While we all know it happens year-round, there is one month in particular where it seems to happen more than any other.
There are only a few things that New Yorkers truly love to do. I'm sure if you think about it, you can probably guess what these things are.
Of course, you know New Yorkers love to eat food and go out to great restaurants. We love our sports teams, especially the ones that are located in New York State.
And, it would seem that people in the Empire State love to have sex.

According to new data released by the National Center for Health Statistics, which is a division of the US Centers for Disease Control, New York State has the 4th most births in the nation.
Now, in order to have that many births, that means people have to be having a whole love of relations.
When Are New Yorkers Doing it?
If you dig into the data that was released by the CDC, the largest number of those births happens in a 30-day window that falls between the months of July and August.
If you take these dates and begin to count backward using the average pregnancy time length, you end up figuring out when the most popular month for New Yorkers to get it on.

November.
I was just as surprised by this as you are, however, it makes sense that this month is so popular. Winter is starting to set in, it's getting colder outside, and body heat is a nice way to find yourself getting a little closer to that special someone.
Also, with the colder weather, some folks may head out of town for a quick vacation, and it's already been established that people have more sex when they're on vacation.
