As the National Football League heads in to the fourth weekend of the season, there is some great news for fans of professional football in New York State.

For years, fans of the Buffalo Bills have been proud of the fact that the Bills are the only true New York State NFL team. The New York Giants and The New York Jets play their home games in New Jersey.

But as far as professional football goes, Albany will soon have a New York State team of their own.

According to reports, there are plans underway for a new Arena Football team to be coming to the Capital Region.

It looks like a it's franchise called the Albany Firebirds that will play its home games at Albany's MVP Arena.

Back here in Western New York, the hype is huge surrounding the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins game that is this Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

The Buffalo Bills will be back in front of the Bills Mafia and are looking to be the first to beat the Dolphins this season. The Dolphins are equipped with incredible speed that some are saying is tough to cover.
