Another one!

On today's (Oct.11) episode of XXL's Hip-Hop Moments of Claritywhich is a weekly podcast dedicated to talking about trending topics in hip-hop, hosts talk DaBaby's big year, Drake's issues with his father, Shaq and Dame's ongoing rap beef and J.T.'s liberation from federal prison.

This week listeners are treated to a four-piece combo as XXL's Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten, Executive Editor, John Kennedy (a.k.a JFK) veteran hip-hop journalist Shaheem Reid and hip-hop entrepreneur Rahman Dukes chop it up. While this is the roster for this week, make sure to tune in for the upcoming episodes to see who will be featured next.

Starting this week's episode off right, our hosts talk all things DaBaby. From his chart-topping album, Kirk to his Best New Hip-Hop Artist award win at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards. His growth over the last year has been legendary.

The ongoing rap beef between Shaquille O'Neal and Damian Lillard found its way into the mix as the hosts discuss the two new diss tracks the basketball players released this week.

After getting into the intricacies of rap beef and career highs, the podcast took a more personal turn. Earlier this week news broke that Drake's father, Dennis Graham claimed that his son's lyrics about him being an absentee father, was false and purely to sell records. Drake later responded to his father's accusations claiming his dad was lying.

Lastly, to wrap up the podcast, the City Girls' rapper J.T. was released from prison this week and to celebrate her freedom she released a single called "JT First Day Out."
