Hollywood Celebrity Opens New York Dispensary! Mission from God?

Sometimes people get mad at celebrities for sharing their views on politics. "Stick to acting!" we say. There are also times where we get annoyed when someone famous wants to branch off and do something different, kind of like Johnny Depp focusing on music over movies.

What if that celebrity is sincere and passionate about their "side hustle"? It appears that may be the case with this TV and movie star as he launches his new dispensary here in New York State.

You know actor Jim Belushi from such TV shows as According to Jim and Mighty Ducks. Maybe you are more of a fan of his work in movies such as K-9 or Curley Sue. Now it's time to get to know Jim Nelushi the weed guy.

On Thursday October 27, 2022, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council joined Belushi’s Farm Akwesasne for a Grand Opening celebration and Mr. Belushi was on hand for the ceremony.

According to a press release, this new cannabis dispensary is located at 987 State Route 37 in Akwesasne, New York. Belushi’s Farm is the latest tribally licensed cannabis dispensary to open under the jurisdiction of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.
