Guy Fieri's "Flavortown Kitchen" Now Open In Colonie

Chef Guy Fieri, best known for hosting "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" on the Food Network, has opened his own chain of delivery only "ghost kitchens."

And it is only fitting that the new chain restaurant features one of the TV chef's signature catchphrases. Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen, with locations in 26 states, is now operating in Colonie. The new kitchen is offering what the Flavortown website calls Guys 'real-deal flavors," brought right to your doorstep.

You read that right: delivery only. The Flavortown chain is not your standard brick-and-mortar restaurant; it is a 'ghost kitchen' that their website says is located 44 Wolf Road, which we know as Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant. Basically, Flavortown will be operating out of their kitchen and delivering what looks like a delicious menu right to your doorstep. The Courier-Times says the kitchens are partnering with Buca Di Beppo, Bertuccis, and some other restaurants across the chain, and delivery is provided through services like DoorDash, UberEats, and more.

Seeing Guy on television for years, you would expect his menu to take you to Flavortown, and by the looks of things, it delivers. Pun intended. The appetizer selections are drool-worthy with offerings like cheesesteak rolls and bourbon brown sugar barbecue wings. The main courses will have you literally packing your stuff and moving to Flavortown, NY with everything from over-stuffed burgers and sandwiches to full-fledged entrees and salads to sides like mac and cheese and fried pickles with ranch dressing. I put a call into the contact number on the website and confirmed the ghost kitchen is up and running for delivery Sunday through Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. through their website.
