Yikes!!!

According to NY State of Politics, the new Green Light Law, which allows undocumented individuals to obtain driver’s licenses in NY State, took effect over the weekend. Everyone I talk to is in disagreement with this law, however it’s now in effect. But as usual you always have that one difficult party. Rensselaer County Clerk Frank Merola says his office will not begin the process of applications because the state did not give him time to properly train his staff!! Say what?! That sounds like a horrible excuse to not do your job.

Now every other county has complied and is in line with the timeframe of this law to go live, but he is saying "I just don't see how they can do that," he said. "It's going to take us some time for everyone to get trained and up to speed," he said.
Well dude what were you doing this whole time? How come every other county is on board but not Rensselaer?

Merola is not sneaky, he has been trying to get an injunction blocking the law from the beginning. So if you were against it from the start, all of a sudden your staff is not on board to initiate said law? *snicker* What say you? Are you against this new law?
