Get to Miami From Albany on Seasonal Nonstop Flights

This is exciting news if you plan on taking a vacation over the holidays. American Airlines has just added a nonstop flight from Albany International Airport to Miami, Florida starting on November 6th. There are some stipulations but now it will be easier to connect to other vacation destinations in the Caribbean, Latin America, and cruises.

The flight that will start on November 6th will depart and return on Saturdays. Seating is limited too. They are using an Embraer 175 airplane that holds only eighty passengers according to The Times Union. This limited service will only be seasonal running from November 6th, 2021 through April 2, 2022. I think this will be awesome during those dreary months here in the Capital Region. Now we have another way to get out of here in the winter and head to warmer destinations.

We have always flown out of Albany International Airport and have been lucky to find nonstop direct flights to Florida. I am thrilled that there are more options and now heading to Miami opens up more vacation possibilities. There are other flights that fly directly to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa. Albany International Airport also has seasonal flights to Punta Gorda which is near Fort Myers.

American Airlines already provides nonstop flights from Albany to Charlotte, Chicago, Washington, and Philadelphia. American Airlines is also the largest airline at Miami International Airport.

Now that we are able to travel again, it's nice to see that there are destinations being added to Albany International Airport. Hopefully, we can all plan a vacation to get away soon.
