Frank Ocean's a smart guy. The Odd Future affiliate has gifted fans with a listen of a new song, titled 'Wise Man.'

The track was cut from the movie soundtrack for 'Django Unchained,' a film starring singer Jamie Foxx. Ocean recently debuted the track on his Tumblr page for fans to hear and download.

'Django was ill without it," he posted on his Tumblr page.

'Wise Man' immediately puts you in the mood of a western film, with the sound of a trembling guitar. "Good man don't exist, no righteous man exists," he croons. The creepy ballad is witty storytelling with a cinematic-feel.

According to the film's director, Quentin Tarantino, he wanted to use the track but there was no exact place for it.

"Frank Ocean wrote a fantastic ballad that was truly lovely and poetic in every way, there just wasn't a scene for it," Tarantino wrote. "I could have thrown it in quickly just to have it, but that's not why he wrote it and not his intention."

'Django Unchained' hits theaters tomorrow.
