Frank Ocean Admits To Bisexuality Through New Album?

This Past year has been quite the stepping stone for new R&B artist Frank Ocean. The new Def Jam artist is set to release his debut album 'Channel Orange' on July 17, and according to the British magazine 'This Is Max' preview review, Frank Ocean may be admitting to Bisexuality through his album.

Last year Ocean dominated the underground music scene with his mixtape 'Nostalgia/Ultra' and crossed over into mainstream with his hit single 'Novacane'. Now, in preparation for his new album to release, Frank has given a few exclusive album previews via Ichat. with ThisIsMax.com being one of them. Their review on the album is what started the Bisexual rumors, here's what the excerpt said:

“Frank has also opened up about his sexuality on the album, we think it’s brave and admire him for being so honest and sharing such a personal aspect of his life through his music. On the songs ‘Bad Religion’ ‘Pink Matter and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and their are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.

In the world we live in now we can’t see this being an issue or why it should be?? But we do commend him for not continuing a facade and conforming to what a Hip Hop so called rule book expects, we say live your life and be yourself.”

True or not, it shouldn't effect people's opinions towards his music, but I'm sure it will with him being involved in the hip hop community. If the rumors are true, i applaud him for being so bold, only time will tell ('Channel Orange' July 17).
