Eminem's publishing company is not happy with Facebook. The social networking site and its ad agency are being sued for infringing the Detroit rapper's copyright, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Eight Mile Style, Em's publisher, filed a 12-page complaint in Detroit federal court Monday (May 20). According to the document, music in a Facebook ad that was broadcast online April 4 was copied from the rhymer’s song 'Under the Influence.'

The ad was played during a webcast by Facebook's Mark Zuckerburg, who was announcing Facebook Home, a new interface for Android phones.

Em's publishing company also wrote in the complaint that the social media site used the song “in an effort to curry favor with Facebook by catering to Zuckerberg’s personal likes and interests, and/or to invoke the same irreverent theme” of the 'Recovery' creator's song.

The music in the ad has since been replaced.
