There's no doubt that Eminem has had a fantastic 2017, anchored on the release of his latest album, Revival, which debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Now, the veteran Detroit rapper has landed in the top spot on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart for the first time in his career, according to Billboard.  Revival earned 267,000 equivalent album units, 197,000 of which were in traditional album sales, in its first week. Additionally, three of the album’s tracks, including “River,” “Walk on Water” featuring Beyoncé, and “Believe” are all on the Hot 100.

With his eighth No. 1 album, Eminem is now tied with Madonna, U2 and Kenny Chesney for the sixth-most chart-toppers in the history of the Billboard 200. Ahead of them are The Beatles (with 19), JAY-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand (each with 11), Elvis Presley (10), and Garth Brooks and the Rolling Stones (both with nine).

In addition to his chart success, there's been speculation that he'll headline Coachella next year, alongside Beyoncé and The Weeknd. According to Consequence of Sound"industry sources" claim that the trio of music stars will perform at the famed Indio, California music festival in April.

Either way, there's no doubt that Eminem has had a great year, and looks to continue his success into 2018.
