Albany's Mayor was interrupted by protesters at her annual state of the city address before she could even get started.

The issue that caused the disruption is police brutality in the case of Donald "Dontay" Ivey, an unarmed mentally ill man who was allegedly tasered by police, leading to his death. People have been outraged after a grand jury refused to indict three police officers in the death of the mentally ill unarmed man last year.

"The State of the City is black and brown bodies!," the protesters screamed. "Guilty! Until proven innocent!"

"You are not describing our city!," Sheehan retorted. "You are not describing what we are doing!"

This is a very complex situation, it seems like the mayor is looking for resolutions elsewhere to calm the protesters. The protesters aren't going to let up anytime soon.
